Its investment themes span Rural Ecosystems (technology-driven models for rural areas, agri-tech, digital platforms), Circular Economy (resource efficiency, recycling, renewable energy), and Financial Inclusion (digital banking, microfinance, insurance, payment platforms for underserved populations). Asia Impact has offices in Luxembourg, Switzerland, and India. A-Impact Advisors, a wholly owned subsidiary of Asia Impact, is based in Grono, Graubünden, Switzerland, and is seeking a Research & Investment Analyst intern to join its Investment Team. Supporting the investment process from sourcing to portfolio management and reporting. Assisting in finding suitable investment opportunities, analysing proposals and documentation received, identifying critical areas for further analysis, and storing and presenting information in the required formats. Exposure to the negotiation process, legal documentation, portfolio monitoring, and governance. Tasks include: sectorial and company analysis; financial analysis and due diligence; desk research on companies and industries; participating in calls and meetings; preparing notes and investment presentations; presentation of investment proposals; and internal reporting. Occasional tasks aimed at facilitating the investment process. Recent graduates or Master's students enrolled in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Fluency in English. Good to have: fluency in Italian; experience in database creation and management (SQL, Access, etc.). The role is open to Schengen area nationals. Monthly compensation of CHF 1,000. Accommodation, if deemed necessary, available under favourable terms in Bellinzona (Ticino, CH). The intern will become an integral part of the Investment Team and will gain hands-on experience in: financial modelling and company valuation; portfolio performance and risk monitoring; understanding key legal documents and principles of good corporate governance; and deal-making processes across Asia Impact's impact investment themes.
