AXA is a globally leading insurance and risk management organization employing highly qualified professionals worldwide. The internship is based within AXA Group's Risk Management team in Winterthur, Switzerland, with smart working options available. The team is undertaking a transformative project to build a cutting-edge solvency reporting solution on Databricks, replacing the current SAP-based solvency reporting framework. Support the Risk Management team in designing and implementing a modern database that transforms the current SAP-based solvency reporting. Build and contribute to a cutting-edge solvency reporting solution on Databricks. Develop new reporting-related analysis features. Work on data manipulation and integration within Databricks workflows. Propose innovative solutions extending beyond the existing SAP framework. Strong coding foundation with proficiency in SQL (MSSQL, MySQL, etc.), including schema design, normalization, and query optimization. Programming expertise in Python and/or R for data manipulation and integration with Databricks workflows. Experience with cloud platforms or Databricks is a bonus but not mandatory. Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive, team-oriented mindset in a multicultural environment. Fluent spoken and written English; German is an asset.
