EY's Transactions Corporate Finance (TCF) department at EY Zürich is a leading mid-market M&A advisory team operating at the nexus of corporate finance and M&A transactions. The team focuses on Transaction Diligence, Valuation, Modeling & Economics, and mid-size M&A Advisory. EY operates as a globally connected professional services firm active in more than 150 countries, with services spanning assurance, consulting, tax, strategy, and transactions. Preparation of transaction documents including information memoranda, teasers, and management presentations; company valuations using market and comparable transaction multiples and the DCF method; assisting in the execution of M&A transactions from pitch to close; conducting in-depth industry and company analyses; preparing potential buyer and target lists; supporting the due diligence process; sharpening technical skills in accounting, business valuations, and financial modelling; supporting multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines. Completed Bachelor's degree or advanced stage of a Master's degree with an excellent academic track record in business administration, finance, economics, or a related field; first experience in relevant fields, ideally in M&A (M&A boutique, investment banking, Big Four), private equity, investment management, or transaction diligence; excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German (additional fluency in French is advantageous); proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint); exceptional analytical and strong organisational skills; strong decision-making skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; collaborative team player with a proactive mindset.
