The Technology Risk team in Zurich serves renowned banks and financial institutions, providing audit and advisory services focused on IT risk assessment, data security, and confidentiality in the EMEIA Financial Services sector.
Support the team in examining IT controls of financial institutions in a highly regulated environment (e.g. FINMA-supervised banks and insurance companies) within IT audits and advisory engagements. Assist with IT General Controls reviews, regulatory and group-wide IT audits, client-requested IT audit projects, IT Due Diligence projects, SOCR framework audits, and other third-party assurance engagements. Perform audit procedures to meet audit objectives and document audit projects in compliance with audit standards and EY's global methodology. Use data-driven audit tools and analytics solutions (e.g. EY Helix) and gain exposure to topics such as cloud, SAP, and artificial intelligence. Contribute to the preparation of audit reports presented to clients. Collaborate with the audit team and keep senior members informed of assignment progress. Participate in an educational programme to continuously develop personal skills and knowledge in IT auditing.
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree programme in (business) informatics, business administration, or a comparable field at a university or university of applied sciences. Interest in financial services sector developments and regulatory topics (e.g. FINMA). Affinity for technology, data, and innovation. Strong team-player mindset and collaborative approach. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Clear and impactful communication style. Entrepreneurial and performance-oriented mindset. Independent and structured way of working with personal initiative. Fluent English is required; German and additional languages are an advantage.
