Performing financial valuation, discounted cash flow and multiples-based analyses. Building and using financial models. Preparing pitchbooks and live deal materials such as management presentations and information memoranda. Conducting industry and product research. Analyzing detailed corporate and financial information. Participating in the execution of M&A, equity capital markets and equity-linked transactions. Working closely with senior bankers on pitches and live deals, contributing from day one. Excellent academic credentials and professional drive. Ability to work as part of a global team with a self-starting approach to problem solving. Strong quantitative skills, accuracy, flexibility, reliability, and dedication. Previous investment banking or corporate finance experience is an advantage. Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate a passion for excellence. Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint. Fluency in Swiss German is an advantage (fluency in both English and Swiss German is preferred). Strong technical, written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail combined with the ability to see the bigger picture. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously. A 3-month off-cycle internship in the Investment Banking division based in Jefferies' Zurich office, with a start date of January/February 2027. Interns gain hands-on experience working on real pitches and live deals within a lean deal team structure, providing unparalleled exposure to a full range of premier investment banking products and leading industry expertise.
