The team evaluates compliance with regulations and assesses governance and risk management processes and related controls. This Career Start role is part of the Trade, Industries and Services cluster, with an autumn 2027 intake based in Geneva. Perform financial statement audits with a focus on obtaining reasonable assurance that statements are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error. Issue auditor's reports including the auditor's opinion. Adapt to working with a variety of clients and team members presenting varying challenges and scope. Gather information from multiple sources to analyse facts and discern patterns. Apply professional and technical standards, uphold the Firm's code of conduct and independence requirements. Build commercial awareness and contribute to delivering quality work that drives value for clients and the team. Travel up to 40% of the time as required. Academic background in a relevant field (degree/field of study as specified by PwC at application). Skills and competencies required include: auditing and auditing methodologies, accounting and financial reporting standards, accounting policies, compliance auditing, external audit, financial accounting and financial audit. Additional valued skills include: data analysis and interpretation, data modelling, data visualisation, AI platform literacy, client management, communication, and emotional intelligence (empathy, emotional regulation, active listening).
