Zürcher Kantonalbank (ZKB) is one of the largest training companies in the Canton of Zurich, supporting over 420 trainees annually. The BEM (Bankeinstieg nach Matura / Bank Entry after A-levels) programme is an 18-month internship designed for school-leavers who wish to enter the banking world. Trainees are based both in branch locations within their residential region and at the central Hard business building in Zurich, gaining broad exposure to a modern, full-service cantonal bank. Collaboration in various teams during assignments in branches in the residential region as well as in the Hard business building. Getting to know current and relevant banking topics with a focus on basic, investment and financing business. Applying acquired knowledge in direct customer contact and process handling. Participation in training sessions, advisory meetings and internal events to develop personal, social and methodological skills. Attending inter-company courses at CYP to acquire sound banking knowledge. Completion of grammar school with A-levels, completed specialised A-levels, or commercial vocational training with professional A-levels in another sector. Enthusiasm for the financial world and enjoyment of working with Office programmes. Willingness to learn new things and make a difference. Strong communication skills, open-mindedness, and enjoyment of working with others. Required application documents: application/motivation letter, CV, school certificates, and optionally further documents such as diplomas.
