The Corporate Coverage Switzerland teams manage global relationships with Swiss headquartered business groups (Pilot clients) and Swiss subsidiaries of international clients (MNC clients), delivering the full spectrum of BNP Paribas group solutions in line with ESG, compliance and credit risk guidelines. The 18-month Local Graduate Program is based in Geneva on a fixed-term contract basis starting in September 2026 and requires Swiss residency upon the contractual start date. As a Graduate Trainee in Corporate Coverage Switzerland, responsibilities include: supporting Relationship Managers in the day-to-day management of client portfolios; onboarding new clients and maintaining KYC documentation for existing clients; handling international network relationships and coordinating Business Lines and Products globally; assisting in the preparation of client action plans with Relationship Managers and Business Lines; collaborating with Business Lines in and outside Switzerland (Transaction Banking, Cash Management, Trade Finance, Global Markets, Export Finance, Factoring, Arval, etc.); ensuring prompt and accurate maintenance of BNP Paribas client monitoring tools (call reports, pipeline management, opportunity tracking); contributing to ad-hoc data reliability checks and regular risk reviews; supporting process improvement projects; assisting Corporate Coverage teams with credit proposals and credit committee preparation and follow-up; and supporting the management of credit topics across network locations. Master's degree in Banking, Economics, Finance or equivalent. Strong interest in Corporate Banking. Preferably some prior banking experience. Self-motivated with strong team spirit and initiative. Ability to set priorities, be flexible, well organised and comfortable working in a dynamic international environment. Behavioural skills: collaboration/teamwork, results-driven, reliability, client focus, organisational skills, resilience. Transversal skills: project management, analytical ability, financial markets knowledge (Bloomberg is a plus). Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Fluency in English and French (written and oral) required; German preferred; additional languages advantageous. Swiss residency required at the contractual start date.
