G. et F. Châtelain, succursale de Chanel SARL, operates within Précieuses Manufactures, an acquisition subsidiary of the Watchmaking-Jewellery division of the Chanel house, based in Geneva. The Finance Internship sits within a team that supports M&A activity and financial oversight of acquired SME companies. 1. Synthesis and monitoring of acquisitions: updating acquisition tracking tables and summary sheets, preparing presentation materials for management, and proposing monitoring tools and continuous improvement initiatives. 2. Updating business plans and monitoring earn-outs: reviewing and updating business plans of acquired companies, estimating earn-out amounts, and monitoring associated indicators. 3. Participation in budgetary processes: contributing to budget construction and revisions, consolidating budgetary data provided by subsidiaries, analysing their consistency, and preparing management presentations. 4. Cash management: ensuring proper banking integration and follow-up, participating in the implementation, monitoring and analysis of cash flow, and consolidating cash flow forecasts of portfolio companies. Education: Master's student (Year 2) in finance, management, audit, or equivalent, completing a final-year internship. An internship agreement is mandatory: the internship must be part of the study curriculum, necessary for obtaining the degree, and validated by the awarding of study credits. Technical skills: good command of Excel and reporting tools; knowledge of financial consolidation principles and management control. Personal qualities: organisational skills and rigour, analytical mindset with the ability to manage large volumes of data, interpersonal ease to work with various stakeholders (subsidiaries, shareholders, management), proactivity and autonomy. Language requirements: fluent English and French. Full-time internship (100%) based on-site in Geneva, running from 4 January 2027 for a duration of 6 months. Working days are Monday to Friday, 5 days per week. The role provides hands-on exposure to M&A monitoring, financial consolidation, budgetary processes, and cash management within the prestigious Chanel group's Watchmaking-Jewellery division.
