About

Montana Capital Partners (MCP), founded in 2011 and based in Baar, Switzerland (with an additional office in New York), is a secondaries private equity specialist focused on the buyout mid-market. As part of PGIM, the USD 1.5 trillion asset management business of Prudential Financial, Inc. (NYSE: PRU), MCP leverages an extensive sourcing network across Western Europe and North America to originate and execute customized LP partnership and fund-of-fund transactions, as well as GP-led solutions in the lower mid-market. MCP's approach involves systematically sourcing and assessing a wide array of global opportunities, selecting the most promising through data-driven analysis. As a Private Markets Investor Relations Intern within the Investor Relations and Marketing team, responsibilities include: developing, updating, and refreshing investor-facing marketing materials such as pitchbooks, fund presentations, teasers, one-pagers, and fact sheets; supporting the preparation, drafting, and coordination of DDQs and RfPs from prospective and existing investors, and helping maintain the DDQ/RfP content repository; assisting with the preparation of regular investor communications (letters, update calls) and supporting the annual investor conference and other investor events; preparing briefing packs and background research ahead of investor meetings and helping maintain investor and prospect records in the CRM system, including pipeline overviews and standardized reports; conducting desktop research on LPs, competitors, and secondaries market trends and summarizing findings into short briefing notes for the team. Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Marketing and Communication, or a related field, with strong academic performance. Prior internship experience in private markets, asset management, consulting, or a related financial services environment is required. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel. Solid PowerPoint skills for producing clean, professional slides and Excel skills for data handling and basic analysis. Foundational understanding of finance and private markets, ideally with prior exposure to alternatives, private equity, or secondaries. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus). Comfort with digital tools and databases such as CRM systems, data rooms, and MS365. The internship offers first-hand exposure to how a leading private markets platform engages with its institutional investors. Interns will gain a strong foundation in the private markets industry and contribute meaningfully to fundraising and investor engagement initiatives. The role provides the opportunity to work closely with an experienced Investor Relations and Marketing team at a globally connected firm that is part of PGIM, one of the world's largest asset managers. The position is based in Baar, Zug, Switzerland.
